Sointu Räisänen, Associate
Sointu joined the Euro Keys team to deal with the strategic communication needs of our clients. She is a communication expert and project leader for the Clean Hydrogen in European Cities -project, co-financed by the European Union, which aims to be an essential step leading to the full market commercialization of Fuel Cell Hydrogen powered buses. Within CHIC and many other Euro Keys’ projects, Sointu develops and oversees the implementation of communication strategies in partnership with multinational companies and partners throughout Europe.
Sointu also helps to coordinate Euro Keys’ lobbying campaigns and has considerable experience with representing public authorities on the Brussels scene. She has a vast experience in EU funding tender services and has contributed to the submission of several successful tender proposals. Sointu oversees the administration of EU-projects and ensures the smooth running of the office on a day to day basis. Some past EU-projects coordinated by Sointu include:

Sointu graduated from the University of Joensuu, Finland, with a Master of Arts (MA). She has previously worked in the political section of the Finland’s embassy to Sweden and in Brussels in the regional representative office of East Finland to the European Union. Sointu is a native Finnish speaker and fluent in English and has a very high level of both written and spoken German. Her other language proficiencies extend to Swedish and French.
