MONIKA DERECQUE-POIS, MANAGING DIRECTOR

Monika is the Managing Director of Euro Keys and has held this position since its foundation in 1994. She leads a dynamic team of public affairs professionals and specialists. She directs all company project teams and is principal Director of the company’s public affairs strategies. Monika has a strong background in marketing and public relations and has lead grassroots campaigns that have changed legislative provision affecting our clients in the European Union. She maintains a wide network of contacts in the public administration, business and the political environment in Brussels and abroad.

Since 1996, she has been serving the European Association of Pharmaceutical Full-line Wholesalers as a senior consultant in European affairs and in January 2001 she was appointed Secretary General of the association and continues to hold this position.

Monika was born in Graz/Austria and has a Master’s Degree (Magistra) in Economics from the University of Economics in Vienna, where she specialised in International Trade and Marketing. Previously she worked for a multinational company specialised in information services for the health care industry ‘IMS Health’ as a marketing and client support manager for 6 years.
