This workshop will focus on technologies for hydrogen storage and potentials they can bring to sustainable energy systems in the future.

In particular, the workshop should discuss the following questions:

(1) SET THE FRAME:  what are the different storage technologies available, technical development, state of the art of the technologies, role for energy storage & application areas
(2) CASE STUDY & LESSONS LEARNED: demonstrate current leading projects in energy storage using FCH technologies, share best practices
(3) ADVANTAGES & BARRIERS: assess potential & advantages of FC (benchmarking with other storage technologies), review the barriers (technological, political, economical) , focus in particular on funding
(4) PERSPECTIVES: market perspectives (trends, areas, key players), demand & offer, next steps & key achievements needed to fully deploy these technologies
